Proven Jobs for Digital Nomads

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my disclosure for more info.

These jobs for digital nomads will help you create an income stream that will support your life of adventure.

Becoming a digital nomad has always been a dream for me. Once I was able to learn what it cost to live the lifestyle I wanted, I was able to turn that dream into a reality.

The jobs I outline below can be started by anyone. You do not need years of education, to complete any licensing programs, to take expensive courses, or buy and hold inventory.

You also do not need to be a graphic designer or an artist. My former profession is accounting and I am not artistically gifted.

Below, I discuss the work I do to bring in up to $10,000 per month. I am a stay at home mom who homeschools, and I do not have hours each day to devote to my business.

Remote Jobs for Digital Nomads

Remote jobs for digital nomads are easier to find than you may think. There are a ton of ways to make money as a digital nomad.

You can monetize the skills you already have, you just need to know where to look.

I have been an accountant for the last ten years. Before this, I was a bookkeeper, office administrator, musician, retail worker, and more.

I picked up skills from all of these jobs that have guided me to where I am today.

There are also hobbies, and passions, over the years that have given me the skills I needed to create a digital products business. I currently own a digital products business which provides me with a full time income.

How to Sell Printables on Etsy

I discovered the world of printables in June 2019. Quickly, I was able to create a shop on Etsy and get products developed and listed. Two weeks later I made my first sale!

To learn how to create printables I took a class by Gold City Ventures. This course helped me to learn about how to create printables, how to market them, and how to sell them.

This is my number one income stream currently as a digital nomad. It has huge earnings potential, with a start up cost of under $200, and anyone can do it.

The course gives you the tools you need from product inception through the entire creation and sales journey. It is really one of the best courses I have taken, hands down.

There are so many printables you can make.

I currently create budgeting, small business, planners, and home management printables, but there are an endless amount of printables you can create.

Some printable product ideas are:

  • Budgeting Planner
  • Home Management Planner
  • Pregnancy Planner
  • Gardening Planner
  • Holiday Receipe Card Book
  • Greeting Cards
  • Coloring Pages
  • Homeschool Planner
  • Pre-school Planner
  • E-Book
  • Small Business Products
  • Social Media Planners
  • Life Planner
  • Planner Inserts
  • Mood Tracker
  • Habit Tracker
  • Goal Tracker
  • Wall Art
  • Games
  • Meal Planner
  • Books Reading Tracker
  • Movies Watched Tracker
  • Planner Stickers
  • Weight Loss Journal
  • Fitness Planner

I only make printable products in a few niches. As you can see above, the possibilities are endless for product creation!

I love how easy my printables business was to start and be successful with. From the day I signed up for the course, I had a product created and listed in my Etsy shop within two weeks.

This is a business that anyone can do either for side income or a full income. If you put in the time upfront, you will reap the rewards.

How to Create Digital Planners

After my printables business became successful, I decided to try my hand at other digital products.

Expanding your digital products gives you a chance to increase your earnings potential. It also allows you to navigate the natural ups and downs with any business due to the seasonal nature of products.

I learned about the Digital Planner Kit Template by Secret OWL Society, and dove into the world of digital planners.

Before I made a digital planner, I had no idea that this was something that people used and that the market is huge and still in its infancy.

A digital planner is used on a tablet with a stylus. You do not need a tablet or stylus to create a digital planner.

I created my first digital planner on Adobe Indesign. The course covers creating your tablet on multiple platforms such as Affinity Publisher and Keynote.

This is a user friendly course for people at any level of digital planner knowledge.

I was able to create my digital planner in 12 hours. It was a simple and easy process. I was actually surprised at how easy it was.

Digital planners can sell for up to $30, so I knew that this was a great product line to add to my digital products shop.

You can find my review of the course here.

How to Create Digital Stickers

The best complementary product for digital planners are digital stickers.

People love to use digital stickers with their planners in order to customize their planner spreads.

I purchased a digital sticker course to help me learn how to create this type of product.

The course I took by Michelle Simpkin was easy to follow and gave me templates I needed to create my first digital stickers. The course is geared towards non-artists, so it is perfect for anyone wanting to use their creative juices.

Currently, I sell digital sticker books using the digital planner template kit from Secret OWL Society with the digital stickers I created using Michelle Simpkin’s course.

I highly recommend taking the digital sticker course so that you can create a digital sticker product line for your online digital products business.

Digital stickers are my biggest seller behind my printable products.

Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

After you sign up to take online courses, you can sign up to become an affiliate for the creator’s course.

This is the perfect way to earn money on courses that have given you a lot of value as a seller.

Each course creator has a different commission plan for the products that they sell. Most payouts are immediate and start at 25% of the course sales price.

Affiliate income is an amazing passive income stream.

I earn affiliate income by writing course reviews, and creating Pinterest pins, of the courses I have taken. Then, I place the affiliate links within my articles and pins.

After people purchase the course through my affiliate link, I earn a commission on each sale.

I also earn affiliate income through Amazon by promoting products that I use and love. Amazon pays a small commission on sales. Amazon has a ton of programs that you can sign up to be an affiliate for.

You don’t even need a blog to become an Amazon affiliate. You can create Pinterest pins and add the affiliate link to your pin.

Supplementing my income with affiliate passive income has been a great way to make my digital nomad lifestyle become a reality.

Blogging

Blogging is the number one job that digital nomads want to pursue. It is flexible, and you can share what you love with the world.

I jumped into the world of blogging in December 2019 by taking the Blogging for Profit course by Gold City Ventures.

The course walks you through how to start, and monetize, a blog. The creators of the course have six figure blogs.

When I was working full time, I did not have a ton of time to devote to my blog. Blogging is a marathon, and it can take up to five years to make a full time income from the work you put in.

While I enjoy the process of blogging, I have found that it is hard to actually earn money with blogging unless you are cranking out content at least once a week.

Blogging is a fun hobby for me currently, and I earn about $10/month in ad revenue from my blog.

I look forward to being able to add more content to my blog and possibly turn it into a full time income.

Currently, I enjoy the quick earnings potential of making and selling digital products.

  1. Hi
How much is the course by Gold City Ventures. When I try your link it says Page not found.
When I found them online they have an incredibly long page of reading for the course you recommended but after reading the WHOLE thing there is no price and all you can do is “Join the waitlist”. So i joined the waitlist and then I got an email STILL not giving any info on the price or signing up.

This is the opposite of inspiring. If you are affiliated with them can you find out the price ?
